can interceptor carb (1984) be used on 1983 saber?

    I ahve a chance to pick up a carb from an 84 interceptor 750 and I am wondering if it can be a straight swap onmy 83 saber 750? I believe the are both the same make except that one is 32mm and one is 30mm. Any advice would eb useful

    I know the Magna and Sabre can be swapped. Not sure about the Ceptor since the engine sets at a different angle in the frame, The air box base might not sit at the right angle.

    probably no,as the engine angle will affect more than merely airbox alignment. it'll screw with float heights in the carbs, as well as many many more issues. IMHO, not worth the headache.
