I got my 1st VFR back in feb of this year . 2007 VFR 800 with only 2,700 miles on it . So for been a great bike , love it . so 3 days ago went for a ride and on the way back I fill it up with gas and put some Sea foam in with the gas and parked the bike in the garage . I took the bike back out yesterday and WOW . Not the same bike . Up to this point my buds 5th gen was getting much better mpg then me and he could get 1st to come up much easy then me. I thought It was just the difference between the 6th and the 5th gen . But now wow . I'm right up there with him and now every time I roll on the throttle in 1st she comes up . before in 1st gear the front wheel would dance like she wanted to come up . I think that the bike being a 2007 with only 2,700 miles on it . It must have sat most of its life and things got clogged . So now 1 gear she comes up very easy . 2nd gear dances like 1st gear use to . So I'm going to run sea foam 1 or 2 more times whenever I put gas in it and then maybe every so often . Like having a new bike . Made my day .
Yeah I should probably get my injectors professionally cleaned. My 2004 I bought in 2014 with 2.2k miles, needed a new engine but that is besides the point.
