You won't, lubrication properties of synthetic and dinosaur oil are the same, it is what NOT added to synthetics and what they DO NOT contain that make them better. No friction modifiers, no variable viscosity polymers to break down and no unwanted metals.

From Amsoil:That tradition of innovation and technological advancement carries on with AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil. It is engineered to withstand the devastating effects of extreme heat. It features exceptional high-temperature film strength for maximum wear protection and delivers excellent wet-clutch performance and transmission protection.

So it looks like I should drain once more n refill with some real "motorcycle oil" then.
cuz it did not start to slip till after I used Mobil 1 25w50.

Huh, that's surprising ... I used to use Mobil 1 synthetic without issue.

I recently switched to Shell Advanced Ultra RT4 (motorcycle specific) because I found a supplier with it at a very good consistent price.

Did you change anything else recently? You could try changing the oil, cheaper than a set of new clutch plates I think, but ... ??

Is the 3rd gen hydraulic clutch? If so, check your fluid level in the master cylinder, check the color, and bleed the line.

Have been running Amsoil 10W-30 (Per Honda Spec!) for last two years in my 2003, then 2014 and my 83 VF750. It is a pure synthetic MOTORCYCLE oil. No friction modifiers. Absolutely no problems. Was the Mobil 1 you used specifically made for motorcycles? Why deviate from specs?
