    Hi,

My 02' VFR has small dints on the tank. The previous owner had small sharp pebbles hit him while on the road.

I believe the tank is made of metal (aluminum i think) which I don want to be exposed to the elements.

A friend of mine recommended Touch Up Pens, and I found the following for the 02 VFR,
    Honda R157 Italian Red
    SKU # : 2228-2
    Vendor : ColorRite
    Manufacturer : Honda
    Manufacturer Code : R157

Wanted to know if anyone has experience using this product, and if it did the cover up job fairly well? The dints are small and hardly noticeable, unless one stares at the tank intently. I am just looking to protect the exposed metal from corrosion.

    Thanks.

    Tank is steel, not aluminum.

Red is one of the hardest colors to match due to it's natural fading tendencies in the pigment. No factory color will match perfectly with an older paintjob. Will it match good enough for you? Each has their own opinion on that.
