Does anyone out there know if the 50th anniversary VFR800 silver paint on the fairing is the same shade of silver as the standard 1999 silver VFR?

Are you talking the RWB. There is no silver on the fairings other than the "Honda" decal on the lower portion. If you are speaking of the solid silver bikes for 2007, not anniverary edition, the paint code can be found on the frame immediately underneath the seat. I don't know if it is the same as the 99 as you ask. I'm sure someone here does know and will pipe up.

BTW....welcome to the site. What bike do you have or are you a troll!!!!!

Looks as if this particular bike is a special in limited edition in the market on your side of the pond.

Here's a more informed group that may be of help:

    VFR800 50th Anniversary edition? - Page 4 - Honda VFR Club

The bike is a kinda-sorta Hailwood tribute color scheme. The fairings on the GP 250s of that era were most likely painted with automotive type lacquer as the racebikes are not assembly line built vehicles.
