    Hi guys,

I am doing my first coolant flush and everything is going according to plan. My garage floor is stained green, and I've washed my work pants twice...

Anyway, I removed the drain plug from the water pump, but I can't seem to locate the cylinder drain bolt that is listed in the service manual. I have an idea of where it should be but I can't seem to locate it without taking more parts off. I don't want to do that if I don't have to.

Can you tell me how to get to this part (which side, which parts, if any, need to come off, etc)?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks, guys.

    Rich

It's located a couple of inches above your oil filter.
Just drained my 2002 and she's running much better. Make sure to refill slowly on the side stand and burp air bubbles, can be hard to get everything out.

eraser, thank you for the help. I think the picture in the service manual is actually wrong or, at least, misleading.

    Got it done!
