Hello I'm new to this great institute recently bought a clean 1995 VFR with 9000 miles. I was looking to upgrade my exhaust and was looking hard at the staintune slipons they look and sound so good! My question is about these delkevic headers I'm seeing on ebay and such are they any good factory pictures can make anything look good. Does anyone have a set on their bike? Also not to cause to much ruckess has anyone gone from a 4th gen to a 5 th gen? I can read about the physical changes between the two but i was hoping for some "seat of the pants " comments. thanks to all that bring this forum to life.

When it comes to headers, people shoot for Delkevic or Motad, with the Motad's being the more expensive option. The fit and finish on both is decent and you can't really go wrong. If you just want a slipon - you don't *need* new headers. Is there a reason you're looking for new headers, are you shooting for performance gains, or are your current headers shot (i'm guessing they're in good shape).

Delkevic makes right and left exit headers with slip ons, or you can just get slip ons from lots of mfgrs. No real gains, to speak of, except noise, but its a great noise.

I have the delkevic slip-on on my 99. It was only $155 shipped to my door. It fits nicely, weighs much less than the stock pipe, and sounds great with the silencer in or out. I've been running with it in as it allows me to hear the V4 music without bothering too many other people. I can imagine that their header is a decent piece for the price, they seem to be a newer hardworking company that cares more about getting a quality product to the people for a good price than making stupid amounts of money... I can't believe a staintune pipe costs $700. It better polish itself and wipe my ass for that price.
