Sometime... Mostly if it is foggy or if I am too hot and could use a it of air. So, under 40 degrees and above 90.

I crack my shield about half way up at most stoplights to get more fresh air. If it's really hot I'll sometimes flip the entire bottom part up since I wear a modular helmet 90% of the time.

    Regards,
    Rollin

    At stop signs, not usually.

At stoplights, it depends on how long I'm sitting there. Also, in cold or heat, will either vent the helmet by cracking it open a bit, or open it 1/2-way or all the way.

When it's hot I do, because I'm hot.

When it's cold I do, to prevent fog ups.

I also have a modular but I don't usually flip it up because I don't like the way it looks

Yea .... I like mine up anytime I'm going slow enough that a bug won't hurt.... But my inside shade is down and I wear Px glasses. But basicly I flip it up just before coming to a stop and put it down right after I start moving.

Don't need to I have one of those synchronized shield lift thingies. Below 20mph face shield automatically rises. Like a power window :)

Thats pretty much me, except in the cold. My shield always comes up at lights, and stays up until 45 mph or so, unless its cold then its up until i can't stand the wind chill anymore.

That also depends on whether or not i'm wearing sunglasses. If im not, then the shield goes back down once i get moving.
