I just bought a 1996 VFR750, and I’m having issues with the idle. The bike keeps dying, even with full choke. It will start up just fine, but after the initial startup the rpms go down to about 1000 for about 10 seconds, then it dies. I’m thinking it’s dirty carbs or the idle is adjusted too low. Also, it doesn’t do that every time. For instance, I rode it 4 different times yesterday, and the 5th time I started it, it did that. Today it did that the first time I tried to start it.
