Hi Everyone, I am trying to narrow the diagnostics before i chase that gremlin all over the bike. The bike is a 2002. ran flawless for 60K miles then died at a light a few years back. I had it parked for a few years and am finally rolling up my sleeves to get it resurrected. Looking around the bike I found the stator rectifier plug connection melted and the 30 amp fuse by the starter relay beside the battery blown. Diagnosis 1 was that I cooked the charging system and depleted the battery. Ordered the new stator and rectifier from RM Stator along with a fresh battery and the fuse. The bike turns on but no fuel pump whizz. Took off the fuel pump connector and it measures almost 12 volts for about a second then drops off to 0, there was a click on the right front fairing coinciding with the voltage drop. Chased that down to the relay in front of the ECU. I am thinking that with that second of 12volts I should at least hear the fuel pump trying but nothing. Jumped the fuel pump directly to the battery and it whizzes just fine, so I am ruling out a fuel pump. Checked the blue connector and it looks fine. Both of the ground spots by the tank rear mount look fine. Pulled the grounding block beside the throttle bodies and it also looks fine. Any diagnostic ideas to help me not throw parts at it would be appreciated. Many thanks Dimitry
