    Electrical gremlins seem to be somewhat of an Achilles Heel for these bikes. I'm sure it's out there but is there a generally agreed upon list of things to replace/upgrade on 5th Gen. to remove the threat of being the coolest bike dead on the side of the road. Thanks for your input.

    Replace the r/r with a mosfet design one. I've a big finned r/r from an R1 on my 5th gen and the vfrness and she's charging 14.5 .Happy days

    And remove the dreaded connector between the R/R and the stator, this is the biggest killer of all VFR's charging system
