    I found an interesting study that is supposed to show that with better cats we can produce 90% less emisisons on our bikes. I don't really care about that becuase I'm already putting out clearer from my tail pipe than what people in LA are breathing.

    What I did like whas the chart on page 4 that shows the VFR has LESS THAN HALF that of other bikes. I mean, look how it stands up to teh FJR1300. Scarrier still is how much more pollution the Triumph 600 puts out...

    But that's stock and I left that behind long ago.

    I'd like to see how this compares to a Prius (Pios) and a Hummer.

    Hey, us VFR riders get almost 40 mpg. That's not Prius range, but that's way, way better than most vehicles on the road. Why the need for a cat then? I mean, the VFR was almost decades ahead of any government imposed restrictions on emissions for motorcycles when it was released back in 2002.

    The VFR is a truly great motorcycle, but I could do without the cat though.
