F4i shock mod requires a new coolant overflow bottle? 1984 VF750F

    I just fitted my 1984 VF750F with a resprung F4i shock. Great, but the coolant overflow bottle interferes with the shock's remote resevoir fitting and hose. I heated up the coolant bottle and pushed it in so there's room for the shock's fitting and hose to the remote resevoir. Sort of. But it looks like hell. Has anyone come up with a different solution?
