New bike. Prev. owner wasnt nice to the bike. I need to source, if possible all new mounting brackets. The angle brackets that the fairings screw to on the sides and under by the oil pan. The front fairing stay was replaced already.

I am pretty sure i need a new oil pan, as the mount for a bracket that is cast on the right side of the pan for the lower screw on the right fairing is gone.

So, anyone know where I can source bracketry? I am going to be buying a new fairing kit as the current one has fitment issues and came with the bike. Bike is supposed to be original Yellow. May just plastidip over the tank, or restore the factory color... dont know yet but the tank may just get replaced as it does have dents. Still, dont know. But I want to put the fairings back on the side and get it to look like a legit VFR again so any help in locating those brackets is awesome. Even part numbers or where to go looking...

    thanks.

I would try using Partzilla. They seem to have really good prices in comparison to some others and the service IMHO was fantastic.

I think the parts you are looking for in the diagram are parts 9, 10, and 12.

Another place you could try is maybe BikeBandit.com. They also sell OEM parts at a fraction of he he cost of height manufacturer. Depending on how much the shipping costs are, it may be also be a good idea to check with your local dealer to see how much the parts cost from them. You may pay more for the parts but dealers likely won't charge you for shipping if they have to bring the parts in on order. Most of the OEM suppliers have a minimum purchase amount to qualify for free shipping (at least within the US anyhow, us Canadians are not so lucky :( in this regard) so it is good to check the prices out.

Wow. Thank you sooo much. I was having a hard time finding a diagram such as that one and those are EXACTLY what i was looking for.

Just gotta see what to do about the right side tab on the oil pan... may fabricate something that uses the pan bolts and uses original bolt hole location.
