My FI light started to blink at me the other day when my brother and I were riding our viffers around town. I looked in the manual to see how to read the codes and followed the instructions and it says to use a jumper wire, so I used a large paper clip to short the system. I have gotten very mixed results from the FI light staying on continuously to blinking rapidly when the jumper wire was moved or touched. I can't get a true blinking to get the codes off, any suggestions. The bike is a 2002 I want to pull the codes myself instead of paying the stealership $100 to do a diagnostic test.
