Shall be interesting to see how this one goes, to bad he used a 3rd gen bike being it says it's a 90, butchered the frame and added a Kawasaki front end. What was he thinking? This is what Honda needed to do with the 4th gen from the get go..

With that logic I've got some Enron stock to sell him. And I'm with the other super my bike is WAYYYY uglier than thatalthough still in proportion, with no funny looking metal on the sides.

    Alright, I'll bite...
Collectors Honda NR750 (Oval Piston) Very Rare.Relisted on eBay, also, Honda, Motorcycles Scooters, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 25-Aug-08 14:13:58 BST)
...this was the real McCoy that came up for auction a little while back. Put side by side, differences can be picked - brake rotors / swing arm etc, but I reckon he's done a pretty good job on the 'glass.

Anyone care to enlighten me on what they think *looks* wrong with his replica?

People see the generations differently -

    1st - 83-85
    2nd -86-89
    3rd - 90-93
    4th - 94-97
    5th - 98-01
    6th - 02-(?)

He was probably thinking that it was his bike, and he could do whatever the hell he wanted to with it!

Shit. All that thing needs now would be a set of spinners and some purple neon. And to be parked on a set of train tracks...

hello? the inverted forks make it ride a little better much less handle smoother. It's just a smart choice for the 3rd gen model. as for the rest... he did a great job on modifying and making this bike unique and likeable. I don't see any mods form a lot of VFR riders unless they wreck their stuff. Say what you will he did nice work... BTW jealousy gets you no where ;)

**this is in response to the first and second posting in this forum... I like it...

Seb, I am sure most of us know what the NR is. I think the questions lie in the owner's choice of parts used to make his.
