OK, so (hopefully) the last bit of advice I'll be asking till after y' all go back to work...
What do you recommend for Frame Sliders?

Again nothing goes back to the Gen4 (that I can find) - what have you guys used?
    What do you recommend?

I've always been partial to the Yoshimura Sliders personally - but what do you all recommend and where/how do I go about fitment? (I'm not keen to be cutting the fairing unless I know exactly what I'm doing! LOL)

    Cheers

I have RG 'crash bungs' fitted to my 4th gen, fitted by the previous owner who did a great job of cutting the holes in the fairing and are pretty easy to remove if having to to remove the fairing panels for any reason image.png

not the best photo my thumb got in the way!

It's easy to install frame sliders that require a hole being drilled in the fairing. All you need is a laser pointer that will mount to a camera tripod and the tripod to mount it to. It can be done in less than an hour. However, you better really want the sliders. You can't put toothpaste back in the tube.

Scott - looks quite good... I might give it a go...
never mind the laser pointers though - just make the hole big enough, it'll fit
