Score-a-hoy! My list of "like to haves" for this bike is growing shorter by the day!

Recently got this off of Ebay:

HONDA VF500F INTERCEPTOR CORBIN SEAT: eBay Motors (item 390209762735 end time Jun-16-10 14:01:32 PDT)

It got here last week. It works/looks good enough right now, but I'd like to make it all black where currently it is red & blue to match my 85 version VF500F. The basketweave seating areas are in great shape.

I have the OEM seat cowl, and I'd like to use it on the Corbin since I won't be carrying a passenger on this bike. Right now (like most Corbin's) the passenger seat is made to be just as comfortable as the driver's seat. It's dished and thick just like the driver's as well. So, I need to have the passenger seat cut down in height (so the cowl will fit over it and the cowl lock will work) and also side to side, as it currently flares the cowl out too far on the sides. And then recovered in all black. Maybe get the cowl bump pad recovered to match too.

Anyone know of a shop that does good upholstering here in SoCal? In the past, I've sent them back to Corbin, but would like to find someone locally. Corbin DOES do a completely re-foaming AND cover though...yet their customer service was lacking the last time I did this for the VFR750 seat re-cover.

    Here is my recommendation
Take a trip tp TJ turn the seat in one of the local shop, They will re foam and with new leather for around $50 u.s dollars. While waiting stop by Hong Kong for a beer or two. Don't forget to wrap some boobies while you there. :)
