Wadded up my ctx1300 in hill country TX because it was NOT a sport touring bike so I took my ins money and brought home my red interceptor yesterday. I feel one with the bike were my ctx1300 I was along for the ride. Very pleased with bike. I never rode so leaned forward but I am ok with it, I ordered the spacer to raise it a bit. I just really like the VFR, hard to explain. It fits me.

Check out Kight Designs lowering foot pegs, much more comfortable.

    Hi rckrzy1

Welcome to the MadHouse:welcome: and congratulations on choosing a red VFR - always the fastest:potstir:

When you get a chance please swing by the introductions forum and say Hi to the rest of the folks on here and don't forget to post up a photo of your new VFR (Its easy click the "insert image" icon and follow the prompts to select and upload a photo from your computer).

You might want to update your forum profile to include the year and specs of your vfr and a rough location (state/town) so the information will appear automatically alongside all your posts. Then if you need help you may find someone living nearby is willing to drop by and offer advice - especially if you have a few cold beers in the fridge:drink:.

    Enjoy the new bike

I feel the same way, I had a M109 for 5 years and sold it, went no bike for 22 months and couldn't do it anymore. Wife bought me a new 2014 Saturday.

The Bully would hurt my back, this VFR is just comfortable, and the low end torque makes me feel a little more at home.
