Just getting the first post out of the way. Philly-born, transplanted to Texas (Houston area)by way of Maine, Philly again, Houston, San Francisco, Connecticut, Mexico City, and back to Katy, Texas. Started in the VFR world with my (then) dream bike, an '86 pearl white VFR 700. Sold it when we were in Mexico for 6 years, and bought a '99 Interceptor when we returned. Red, of course. Sad to say it has mostly sat in the garage looking all purdy but unridden. But it's in the shop now for new rubber and fluids, then on the road again. Gonna break out the excellent Tour Master saddle and tail bags and use it for commuting and short hops. I think that's why I put it up...my riding now is much more likely to be for a gallon of milk than anything else and without luggage...well, you know. Well, the good thing about sitting in the garage is that it's basically still in perfect condition. I'm really looking forward to riding it again. I have lurked here for a long time and figured I might as well register, so there you go.
