    Gentles all...
Greetings from Oslo Norway, currently without ice..
I am a master mariner that has been shore bound for a few years.
Im on my second 5 gen.
the first one I rammed up the stern of a truck in 2003( was a 98 mod.)The wife and I was on our way to do all of europe during the summer hollidays.
That trip lasted 45 min. a bit of a bummer. we were unharmed luckily. He decided to stop on a busstop on the left side of the road wihout using a turn signal, just as I was about to pass him on the outside.

got the second 5 gen 2 months later, an 01 with 4000km on the clock.
now 10 years later I have managed to run it up to a staggering 17 000 km.. which goes to show that spending life at sea together with children at home and a slightly terrified wife tends to cut into the riding time.

Now, luckily im working abt 25 min from home, and can ride to work as long as the roads are frost free. which usually are april- october.(crossing fingers for november.)

Have kept my bike stock untill recently apart from a bagster cover on the fueltank, and a GIVI rack.
Recently I have ( maybe as the precursor to a mid life crisis, am 42  ) changed the exhaustsystem with Delcevic stainless headers without cat. and a slipon from Raptor (currently wihtout the mandatory Db killer:cool:)

So now i Lanesplit every day, make use of the bike lane( area betw the to yellow lines ) and enjoy rushour .

    thats me.. Hello all.
