    Hi y'all
Hope the winter (for those who live in the northern hemisphere) has been kind to you...
I have an 2000 VFR and as you know, has 2 x H7 head light bulbs & are working fine in high & low beams . Does changing them to H4 give me anything extra? Does the extra filament on the H4 turn on when the high-beam switch is on? Thank you for your answers.
I apologize in advance if my question sounds stupid to some forum members.

Nothing extra, but H4's are much more common (cheaper). Most use the H4 adapter and I like Sylvania Silverstars.

I just use H4 bulbs and cut the bottom tab off, no ill effects.
