Has anyone had experience with these levers listed on eBay?

I bought on these on eBay for less than $50, with shipping...little different design than the ones you have posted, but they look and work great! Here is a link to the ones I bought: Click Here

These are for the 02-09, but they do sell your year too. Several sellers have them and it kind of looks like these are all made at the same factory (in Hong Kong). Here is a picture of them on my bike.

I bought the Pazzo's for my 01 VFR, very nice but 179.00 shipped. I bought the Hong Kong knock offs for my 02 CBR, very nice (really can't see any quality difference) for 55.00 shipped. It was a no brainer for me.

They have more adjustment to them with a flick of the switch. They look awesome and you can get them in stock lengths or shorties where you can use one or two fingers and you don't have to worry about crushing your little fingers with the long lever. I went with the shorties and love them.

Like tanrush said, they have a very easy adjust lever, they look great and I think the clutch engages better and fully (when you need it to).

Wow nice, I almost bought the pazzos but the price really set me back. I'm glad to hear others are reporting the hong kong knock offs are good too. By the way I've been using Hong Kong brake rotors on my bike for 3k miles and they've been working great!

that's good to hear they are not junk. Friends only recommended the pazzo's but I opted for the ebay one's as well. Haven't recieved them yet but am looking forward to installing them. Stock is just too long.

Problem with this thread is that if a lever fails in the hand of a rider, chances are he would not be able to report on it :-( This being said, I may give them a chance since I definitively want a shorty.

When you apply the clutch lever, does the neutral light come on? I bought a replacement clutch lever for my 6th gen on ebay and it fits perfectly, but it does not make contact with the neutral light switch on the master cylinder... so it does not allow me to start the bike without beeing in neutral. I would like to replace it with a new one, but I'm afraid anything else I buy coming from Hong Kong might have the same issue.

No problems at all. No neutral light on and no problem starting in gear. Clutch actually seems to engage better.

If you try adjusting the lever out further temporarily, this may allow the clutch switch to make. If that works, you can possibly leave it at that position (yes, I know, what's the point) or try adding a small shim to the end of the lever mechanism that actuates the clutch switch. I recently got frustrated with my stock lever as it couldn't be adjusted in far enough so I heated it up and sledge hammered some of the curve out of it. This resulted in the clutch switch not making at the innermost adjustment as the end of the lever hit the grip sooner than it would have otherwise. I now had plenty of adjustment and was able to adjust it out one click with the result being that the clutch switch now actuates correctly.

    Hope this helps.

FYI-I received the Red levers I ordered but they were closer to a pink color than red!

The vendor said they exchange them for a black set
