    Lads, need help with this---

--- as I start to operate bike now the two indicator lights flash on like hazards non stop, the only way I can stop it is by disconnecting the battery.......... I recently went through most connections to check/clean coated with vasoline and retaped/secured, I also changed out the fuses as and where I found them------ the bike went around 60 miles after this work without any issues. Any ideas?

-its a 98 FIw, has alarm fitted

There should not be any power to the flasher unit with the ignition off so my guess would be your alarm unit, as that would be the only part that is permanently powered. Can you disconnect that from it's power supply?
