Hey,I'm the new guy. I am the proud owner of a new leftover 05 silver VFR. So far I've done a Sarget seat, riser bars and a Givi sheild. I'm looking for feedback on a couple of things from you the experts; is there any sound or power improvement in gutting the cat. What exhaust is the one to use? Like I said I am the new guy, but I come with knowledge. I own POPS Racing, we do paint and vintage bike restoration, I will feild questions about these topics to members like you. Speed Safe, Will

Hello Will and welcome to VFRWorld. Those are some nice changes you made and I am sure you won't be sorry you made them. Exoticsportbike.com has a wide selection of aftermarket exhaust systems. I am sure you will get some power increase, due to less backpressure, but I cannot say how much. It may even be a little louder. You will probably get larger gain in power with an aftermarket exhaust. You might also want to consider a power commander. Staintune exhaust seems to be the most popular. I have a 93 and I put a D & D muffler on it (was meant for a 94 - 97, but I had an muffler shop make a midpipe) and It sounds like a GTO series V-8.
