    Hey everyone!

Not new to bikes (had a hornet 600), but just got myself a 07 VFR800! I guy I knew was looking to sell it so I jumped at the chance and bought it as soon as I could!

Saw the bike a few years ago and been thinking about it ever since to be honest!

Delighted I got it now, has full Honda Luggage with it (top box not pictured, its HUGE).

Doesn't have any extras other than that, want to buy a set of crash protectors for it, but after that I dunno what to get really, any ideas?

Welcome to The World! Looks like you got a pretty nice ride there, good job posting pics with your intro post too. As far as ideas of what you can do...I'm sure there are quite a few post on here where it'll keep you busy for days reading through them all. Take a few rides get to know it and then see what you might want to improve/change first, then I'm sure you'll get plenty of ideas here.

    Slainte!

Congrats Joe, that's a beauty. An aftermarket exhaust can really bring the beautiful v4 music out, IMO:bluesbros::violin::drums::guitar::eagerness:

Congrats on buying best sounding engine out there. Was in Killarney last year prior to the Ring of Kerry, you are a lucky man. Great place. Am in Ireland next month for the NW200.

Joe - this might be your lucky day. I am booked in here http://www.pearseroadguesthouse.com/ for the period 11th - 17th May. Have paid £25.00 deposit so its secured. However i wanted to go here http://www.seaviewtavern.biz/ but they were full. Since then they had a cancellation so am going there instead. My booking at Pearse Rd is still mine so if you want it you are welcome to it.

That's my favourite colour VFR, Biker Joe. Really classy looking IMHO. I almost bought one but over here the Glory Red doesn't have ABS for some strange reason, and I really wanted ABS. Is that the same everywhere?

If you're looking for a free cosmetic mod, did I see "lawyer warnings" tank stickers on that beautiful paint?

No mate. Those stickers on top and just aft of the gas filler that come from the dealers in Canada with all manner of warnings for shit that any idiot could figure out but leave a corp liable somehown for idiocy. They were still on my '02 when I bought it in July :numbness: so were first thing off. Besides they're ugly. Maybe they don't exist in Ireland? If you imagine copying and pasting this post onto your tank that's what they look like.

Oh ok, I've nothing between the filler cap and the seat except for a tank guard which came on the bike! I'll take a pic and throw it up when I'm home the weekend.

Awesome bike!!! Congrats!!! I looked a few red ones around here before I bought mine last year, but yours is especially nice. Love the luggage. I wish I could find a decent set around here for a good price. Enjoy that baby :) Oh and welcome and hello from the USA

Cheers, I presume the one in your signature is yours? never seen one in white before, not usually a fan of that colour but looks savage!
