Good Day to all you fellow VIFFERs out there. Glad to be on board with my 2003. Just picked it up with only 18k miles on the ticker. Got really interested in one of them when I spotted one running around town here and could not believe how awesome the exhaust sound was on it. Took me the longest time to figure out what the bike was since it was stripped of all the stickers. Finally just ran out into the traffic at a stop light to talk with the rider and find out about the bike. Kept telling him to come see me if he wanted to sell it. He never took me up on it, but it only took me about 3 months to find the right one for myself. Very happy with the quality of the bike, and of course, being a Honda it is so easy to work on. Only had it a week, and already changed the fuel filter, replaced the bar ends, got dual Delkevics on the way, dropped the PAIR system, took off the snorkel and flapper, and have a 17T front sprocket coming. She just felt a little short to me going up through the gears and figured the taller front cog should help a little. Didn't buy it for the power, since my Rocket III Roadster handles all that duty just fine. Just wanted something smaller with good handling and comfortable riding position to blast around town. Looking forward to learning more about my new little girl and having some good convos with all you other riders. CHEERS! Luke
