Hello to all! I've been checking this site out for a few months since purchasing a '95 Viffer 750F. So, I though I'd join up to chat with all of you knowledgeable guys and gals.

    Here's the story...

1995 VFR750F. 58k miles, well kept, new tires, K&N filter, 2 Brothers muffler, runs strong. No problems other than average wear/scratches and a dent on the tank from 1st owner. (funny story. I'll get to that in a minute)

I've ridden the bike for about a month and then hooked up with a local guy to have her painted. (something other than "Honda red") While she's naked, I changed plugs, oil, filter, fuel filter, clean/relube air filter, checked brakes, replaced valve cover gaskets (leaky) and visually checked everything else on her. I'm hoping to get the fairings and tank back soon to start putting her back together. I'm already jonesin'!

The 1st owner bought her new in Texas and traded her in (in Tucson) at about 52k miles in 2002. (he traded for a new Viffer!) 2nd owner buys her and only puts about 6k miles in 6 years. So, doesn't ride her at all! When I was checking the bike out at the dealer, one of my co-workers asks me about what bike I'm looking at. I showed him the pics online and he says, "Holy crap, I think that's my old bike!" Long story short, it IS his bike. He told me about the mods he did to it, the K&N filter, and how the dent got on the tank. (slipped on some gravel, knee went into the tank, OUCH!) When he owned the bike, it was his main transportation, since he's a rider more than most guys I know, hence the mileage. Cool story.:thumb:

Well, I can't wait to start some mods on her and ride! Here are a few pics of the purchasing day and some of the bike waiting for fairings in my garage.

    See ya,

    JK!

Well, I know of two. Mine and my buddy Joe's '98 VFR800. He's in the process of paint prep as well.
