Hello all. I have a new to me 1985 VF700F. I got the bike in a trade for a 1976 Goldwing. The bike sounds strong but there are some carb issues and the valve covers leak.
The mileage is high 43,000 so it's been around. I plan to do the top end oil mod so she keeps going.
One question I have is the left engine cover is painted black not silver like all other interceptors I have seen is this normal for 1985.
The tail pipes are silver, not black like other interceptors of the day, could be aftermarket? I love working on old bikes so this will be a challenge.
