    Hello all,
    Sean here.
Brought my '08 vfr home yesterday. 750 mile round trip to pick it up.
This is my 2nd vfr. first one I bought brand new in '02.
Life got in the way and I had to let it go.
Ive waited 14 years to get my bike back. The short trip i got to take last night felt just like old times. WONDERFUL!!! AMAZING!!!!I'M SO FRICKIN STOKED TO HAVE THIS BIKE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!WHOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!

    Ok, Ill stop yelling...
My '08 has 4200 miles, and is Charcoal grey. Someone put a 2 brothers exhuast on it. also i think most of the decals have been removed. the only thing on the bike are the wings on the tank. Its going to need a new pair of tires. Ive already dumped the old fuel and replaced it with ethanol free, also changed the oil and filter. Literally, my fingers are a little oily still.
Anyway, Im glad i found you guys! and yes, Ill put up a picture as soon as I get it off my phone.

    -Sean

    Welcome, Cheezy!

Some great roads to ride down in the Alphabets and some parts that border on the UP. I was out there last summer with some pals from OH and VA until I got into a head-on with a semi that cheated into my lane on the Mindoro Cut.

    Ride safe and have fun!

DAMN! that SUCKS man,. You recovering still?
Have any of you guys seen the Dog vs motorcycle on youtube? That happened 20 miles from me.
    those kids were lucky...
Anyway, Thanks for the welcome! I'm in the process of getting back into riding. Like I said, its been quite a while. I wont ride without gear. Cant risk it. Ive worked for too many years to blow it now.
Im going to get 4-500 miles under my belt then upgrade these tires. I think they are the originals. the front is cupped up pretty good and the rear has a flat spot....BOOOOO!
I am just so thrilled to be back on 2 wheels again.

Couple more pics...These are the pics that the seller sent me. I haven't had the time to clean it up, take new pictures, e-mail to myself, uplaod to here... you get the idea. I'm currently working an hour and a half away from home, so the commute is cutting into my schedule.

To a degree ... I was in full equipment and was able to jump off just before impact. I was still hurt fairly bad but nothing broken.

I suffered a lot of soft tissue damage to my left foot. Up until about a month or so ago, I couldn't exercise without it swelling up. Now I have to exercise to keep it feeling well - if I take too many days off, it gets sore with inactivity.

All that said, about 2 weeks or so after the accident, I had to fly out to Saskatoon, SK and ride my new bike back home over about a 700-800 km trip. I couldn't wear my riding boots because of my swollen foot, so I had to opt for my hunting boots with steel toe and shank. I didn't want to waste any time.

Everyone things I'm nuts now for getting back on a bike. I just tell them that I could be hit in a car or walking across the street just as easily as on my bike.
