Hi, a new member here, but not new to Viffer's. I recently found one of my old race bikes and brought it home. An 86 VFR-750 with ram air and CBR-1000 wheel conversion kit. I'm trying to restore it and use it as occasional track day bike. I did some business with Chuck Crites from (then) Cobalt Fiberglass and I can't find a current phone no. For him, so if anybody could help me out, I sure would appreciate it. I raced CCS for all of the 90' in the midwest and great plains regions. I was expert 64 and I started Norseman Racing. Anybody remember?, well, probably not. I raced a CBR-400 with a 600 engine in GP and then a VFR-700, VFR-750's and a CBR-900RR. I'm looking forward to getting and sharing some info and pics with you guys. Nice to meet 'ya. Seth Rugo.
Welcome Rug. Sounds like you just may be a source of valuable information for some of us loosers. I know how to put gas in mine already. Stay around. We are a bunch that will fill just about every need you can think of. You will learn who to ignore.
Thank's for the welcome guy's. I'm not a well of information by any means, but I know a trick or two. Don't worry, I'll keep my head down and I'll mind my manners.....for now. Haha. The last VFR I had was a 94, so I've kinda been out of the loop. And I'm old too!..but my throttle hand is still 17. Thanks for the welcome again. I will post some pictures real soon, before and after kinda stuff if anybody would be interested. later.
