I have a 1985 honda magna vf500c v30 and i need a float bowl gasket. I'm having trouble finding one. Does anyone know where i can find one or would a gasket maker/sealant be better off?

Go to your local auto parts store. Buy an O-ring the same dia size of the others. Make sure it's longer than what you need. Get some super glue. Cut o-ring and fit to length on the float bowl. Super glue the two ends together. Note: super glue was first made for rubber and once glued will not come apart. Put a dab of SG at each corner bend of the bowl while laying in the o-ring finishing with the two ends on a straight run area of the bowl. Cut ends to fit now and SG together. No the gas won't eat away the glued ends.

OR go to Honda Yamaha Suzuki Kawasaki Sea-Doo Can-Am Ski-Doo Motorcycle Parts ATV parts Scooter Parts personal watercraft parts Accessories and buy a gasket set. There is E-Bay also, but most of those are o-rings bought from an auto parts store and not form fitted for the bowl like originals, just the right size to make all the bends without cutting.
