Hey guys! After being out of town for various adventures for the last month, I'm finally back! Just an update: My bike is still making that awful clicking noise, and I still haven't figured out what the problem is, so I haven't been riding at all... which is depressing. Also, and don't hate on me too bad for this, but I started at an engineering co-op job at Harley here in Milwaukee. Not quite my dream job, but it at least gets me into the industry, and it's local!
Thats how Eric Buehl got started, experience is experience doesn't matter where it comes from & mother HD takes pretty good care of there employee's. I have a few relatives that work @ the Tomahawk location, there employee purchase plan is pretty sweet to. If you work it right your can ride a brand new bike for a year for free(selling it out right every year). A new Buehl should keep you entertained & should be @ least as good as your old 500, good luck:biggrin:
I was checking that out today actually, but I don't think I'm qualified for a discout, because I'm a college co-op, so I'm technically a 'contractor.' They also have a thing where you can ride company owned vehicles, and then you just fill out little evaluations so they can get feedback on the bikes. But I'm not sure if I can do that either! But hey this is still not a bad deal for me!
