If he would have bought a VFR, he would have spent the rest of his time bitching that Honda doesnt listen to the customer.

Not if you plan to use what they use in harleydoodville to separate the men from the boys.

So after fifty some purchases of new motorcycles, which at 5G each would be roughly a quarter million dollars, they give him a 350? I'll bet his lawn mower has a bigger engine. :scooter:

I think the recognition is worth more than the gift but did anyone ever ask why he bought so many? Was it his ADD getting carried away? (squirrel):spankme::spankme::spankme:

At the latest prices for Levis 501s and a matching jacket, ya got a Cnote in the outfit easy. Or is that megaloonies?

Then we go to why the hell Levis never made bike togs... ??

Maybe next year Honda will buy him one of their generators to run a defibrillator and a lifetime supply of Viagara.

As a result of cost cutting measures, we have been forced to adopt the "Dryden Diner Jacket" which is a plaid cotton jacket that can be bought at Marks Work Warehouse for less than $30 on sale. The jeans have also been down graded of late. 501's are something like $60 a pair these days. Thrift store jeans are all the rage.

We are at the mercy of the bean collectors and counters. The words "cotton jacket" in your post were highlighted. I ran (drove) my mouse over them and got a little pop up that links to guess what? Some outfit selling cotton jackets.. and the damn things weren't even plaid.

50 pesos here for 501s and they ain't the same 501s I used to buy..

I'd rather get some cool plaque or other keepsake than that little cb. What a slap in the face.

If you have a plaque problem, One guy here ( Norcalboy) is an expert on flossing and toothpaste.

Some people can't even be happy with free shit. Some folks think Homda should have paid him to take the bike.

I think free is good, especially when it is a simple contest, etc. However, Honda's whole point was to "honor" this lifelong Honda rider, and I feel they gave him a slap in the face. The only cheaper vehicles are the Grom or scooters, and the Grom is probably more fun than the CB.

    A short play:

    Curtain opens

Dude walks into a bike bar, orders a French mineral water and tells a chica with a nice rack that he rides a Grom.

    Curtain closes.

Maybe he went in to buy the CB300F and they decided to give it to him since it was his 55th new bike from Honda?

I'm with BWeiss. Maybe the CB300 was the last one he needed in his motorcycle harem and he's happy as shit.

UJ would rather that Honda gifted him a Yamaha.

Who didn't guess that an attempt at a nice gesture would piss off at least one person?
