Again tried starting it with choke pulled it took too long for it to start but soon after it started engine went on very high rpm. front right cylinder was not firing properly engine was running with rest 3cylinders As I put the choke back to normal position bike startd missfiring n turnd off. Tried couple of time it only starts when choke pulled n turns off as I put the choke off. Its not even idiling properly pls help.
As m not aware abt manufactring year n model of my bike ... yes engine number starts with RC24 100....
Secondly tried cleaning carbs but didnt find mixture screw on the carbs. througly cleaned the carbs n checked the diaphrams n needles all were fine. Can u share the links how to tune carbs n how to check ignition timing.

i'll bet you didn't clean the fuel enrichment pick-up tubes; they're the very long brass tubes and can can be cleaned with carb spray + a very thin wire+ compressed air.

Also seems that your pilot jets were not properly cleaned and poked through with a thin wire.

in warmish weather, with clean carbs that are full of fuel (ridden recently) no choke should be necessary for starting.

You need to find the mixture screws, free up their ability to turn by switching around float bowls, and open them up (CCW) between 1/2 to about 1 turn to provide a richer fuel mixture at idle speeds and just above.

Anytime the engine gives you problems it's best to remove and inspect and clean the sparkplugs and consider replacing with new if they have over 10,000 miles on them or look very black.

    Welcome aboard, Vicky.

Common thing missed after taking apart and cleaning the carbs is synchronizing them, which sounds like your problem. Sometimes you can get it pretty close doing a 'bench sync' using a sliver of paper prior to reassembly, but most of the time it's best to use an actual sync tool. Unless your getting the proper fuel level at each cylinder on every rotation at the right moment, the pistons are gonna have an all out war with each other and it'll run really rough, stall out, or give problems with starting even with the enrichener.

As Squirrel stated, be sure to run a wire through each of the jets and flow each passageway in the set. It'll make a world of difference down the road. There are plenty of carb jobs to browse through on here for pointers (mine included) but always know that we are here if you've got a specific prob or Q.
