Hey all, I don't love stickers on my bikes even if (sometimes especially if) they were put on by the manufacturer. I took the two "Honda" stickers off the tail and nose of my 1200. If you're thinking about doing this don't bother taking off the one by the taillight. They actually molded in a flat, non-textured area that the sticker fits into. So if you take off the sticker you just look at the ugly area it was meant to be in. The sticker on the front fairing under the windscreen comes off with some heat but you may have to put some elbow grease into getting the residue off. That one is definitely worthwhile removing though, the bike looks a bit cleaner without it. Make sure you've got some Goo Be Gone or something similar at hand when you do it.
Alot of stickers on factory bikes are actually under the clearcoat, Like most of the gas tank honda emblems.
And what does that have to do with my helpful hint? Obviously I don't try to take off stickers that are under the clearcoat. You can easily feel if a sticker is under the clearcoat or not. ???????
