HONDApalooza 2024

Friend of mine puts on an event at the end of Summer, HONDApalooza. Ride (or drive) in for viewing bikes, bench racing, tech talk, general BS. Slow / obstacle course race on a 1964 Trail 55. Popcorn, Pizza and refreshments. It was a perfect day in the 70s the day before Fall Equinox.

 

It was good times. Attendance a little lower this year, but a great group of people and very gracious hosts. I may pre-trailer a couple of mine next year for display.

I came in second on the slow race. To be honest I didn't really push my luck going as slow as I could have cuz I thought I was going to be the only person to actually finish without putting my foot down or hitting a cone. 2 people finished out of 18 I think, I lost by 2 seconds.

 

This last one is another friend's that I help pick up last winter. Survivor purchased from the original owner.

 

An old MT250- cool. My dad had one. I had an MT125.

 

That MT has like 1400 miles. It's the nicest one I've ever seen in person. The original owner gave it to him along with the CB450 (also the original owner). Wanted to make sure it went to someone who would cherish them.

 

A sparty fan I see. He can't be all that bad. I pull for them when basketball season comes around, Tom Izzo and whoever he is coaching.

NSR!!!! I would love to hear and smell the two-stroke!

 

He does a start up. It smells and sounds exactly how you want it to. I have been promised to ride it. Tried last year before a dinner party and traffic FUCKED ME. Had all the gear in the STi.

I'd have rolled in if it was Michigan!
