How does one remove the seat on a VR800 vtec??!

    Insert key, turn key, rear of seat unlocks and pops up but i cant get the whole of the bastard off!


    Is there a release lever or anything or am I being retarded...?

    Just wiggle it to the rear of the bike and it will come off. They tend to hang up a bit.

    toe, the 6th g doesn't have the lever behind the latch that you push down after turning key that releases the seat?

    There's no level back there; just turn the key and pick up on the rear of the seat. If you have an aftermarket seat it can be a little difficult as they get stuck as TOE said...
