    Hey all,

A lot of members that I haven't met yet, mainly because I stick to the 1st gen area. Anyways, I bought a 1999 ZX9R a few weeks ago and have taken it apart and am now rebuilding it. I'm almost there, with the exception of the bodywork, which is in just piss poor condition. Here she is:

Video 2: (warmed up) YouTube - Continuation of ZX9R

I was looking on YouTube today and was suggested some links, clicked on one, and found myself watching a video of a black 1999 ZX9R with green rims and NY plates. The bike sounds just like mine does, as it has the same exhaust system. I look over another video by the same poster and notice even more things that are the same:

    YouTube - 1999 Kawi ZX9R
    YouTube - 1999 Kawi ZX9R (2)

    It has the EXACT same:
    - Shitty black spray job
    - dent in the frame on right
    - rusted bolts at the rear seat
    - exhaust + sound
    - undertail kit
    - windscreen
    - knick in the speedo cluster
    - paint missing on speedo bracket
    - paint missing on handlebar cage
    - plate state!

This IS my bike from the prior owner, isn't that wild you can go online and just stumble upon things like this? It blows my mind.

That's pretty cool, the PO of my bike was a nutter stunter that lived in a house with a bunch of other like minded kids so I was hoping to find videos of mine on there, but at least so far no luck. It's neat to get a peek into its previous life like that.
