Lol. Me too. I like my bike way more than looking cool.

Post if you find any. We'll have to go thru the fairing for any real protection.

Well spotted - so it looks like the R&G kit is also available in the USA.

Sadly I suspect that for those you based in Canada there may be some extra shipping and tax added to those prices. If the tax is really high, then it might be a good excuse to head over the order to participate in Reggies R3 2015 and at the same time arrange to have a set of sliders fitted on the bike before you ride back to Canada.

I had T-Rex sliders on my R6 when I went down on the track. Very effective. Cost very little for the ones I had compared to other brands.

I just got my set of T-Rex sliders in. They weren't super cheap, but you can easily tell the quality once you see them in person. They're super well designed/made with high quality materials and feel like they could take quite a beating. I haven't got them on yet, but the directions seemed decent and I'm quite happy with not having to cut my fairings.

I had the T-Rex sliders on my Honda CBR600F and they were very effective. However, on that bike they were very close to my shins so if I braked hard, my shins would hit them. Is this something I can expect on the 2015 VFR800 DLX?

R+ Gs sliders work perfect on a vfr and can save your foot from being crushed-only a idiot would not use them

I was actually planning on writing a mini review of them (since I haven't seen one yet) - but in short no, not while riding, they sit far enough forward. However, your legs will more than likely bump them when you put your feet down. It doesn't bother me since I wear pants (and there are some benefits to it actually) but if you wear shorts or thin pants I could see it getting annoying.

Anyone wearing shorts or thin pants riding a motorcycle deserves all they'll lose, regular denim jeans these days aren't fit to be worn either, even really slow speed spills can result in life changing injuries

Sorry to hijack the thread but I've seen and experienced enough to make me always comment......apart from road rash (at best) the thought of a yellow jacket whizzing up the shorts and delivering its sting on your nuts is eye watering

put on the t-rex ones. they are rock solid and very well constructed -- worth the price -- and they only touch my shins when i wear my big gaerne dirt boots. the rest of the time they are unnoticeable.

Funny, I've seen and experienced more than my fair share of accidents and for the most part I keep my mouth -in this case fingers- shut.
