I've read through a lot of the posts concerning this swap on this and other sites but haven't found the solution to my dilemma.

My measurements of the F2 rim and forks to determine the spacing show that the speedo drive is about 0.175" too thick (plus or minus a few thousandths). Looking at the wheel and the drive, I just don't see where that much material can be removed.

If there is anyone that has done this mod that could please pass along some advice, pics, suggestions, etc. it would be greatly appreciated.

Eventually I would like to do an entire front end swap but the old Metzelers now on the stock rims are getting thin and the F2 rims have new Z6s on them.

    Thanks!
