Is "Swappable" a real word? Let's say yes.

I was cleaning up my 86 (I believe) vf500 and couldn't bear driving a bike with red, spray painted wheels so I bought a set of wheels from someone and these are the same, exact wheels BUT the driven sprocket has a chain guard on it. "Good Idea", I thought but even though I did confirm the same dimensions and condition (no hooking), seems the chain is a bit notchier on the "new" sprocket. Is there any know difference, between the guard, between the Magna and Interceptor sprockets? The manual only shows pictures but no teeth dimensions.
    Thanks.
