    Just saying hi!

Love the site so far, so much info to sift through wow. Just picked up this new to me 93. Only had to drove 8 hours for it lol. Well worth it though, 22 000km, 2 owners. Amazing condition, I adore it.

Have a full Galfer braided kit for it, EBS HH pads front and rear as well as new Pilot powers to go on! Suspension is next.

    Enjoy:

The 3 Gen is one of my favorite VFRs, especially white, so kudos on your purchase!

No question that is a very nice piece. How many KM on the bike, does it have the optional clock?
I noticed you are in Canada, I also noticed the rear stand, I have the same stand but I was not sure who made it, do you know if it is a Made in Canada Hindle ?

Wow, almost an un-molested Gen3 bike  They had to mutilate the rear fender by cutting (bobbing) it, Love your side stand fairing, those are really rare, mine broke off 20 years ago, the white bike never had one. You got the rear cowl with the bump pad, those are worth some decent money too. You could wire in those rear blinkers into the tail light assembly, imho - its the only way to go as far as tastefulness.

Make sure you do a full clutch/brake fluid swap out as they get crudy. I got EBCs good pads, I am running black organics, a little less of an initial bite, one bike has EBC rotors with an F3 front wheel. Suspension wise, I have Race Tech gold valve emulators with a Fox shock on one, the other bike has a Penske shock and Traxxion Dynamics fork springs. white.jpg

Welcome to VFRWorld, Devo83. Imonitor bith sites as well.

My '90 has the seat cowl and sidestand fairing/cover, but no clock. I think the wiring is there to make it a plug 'n' play if I could find one. I REALLY miss having one.

    Cheers,
    Glenn

the connector is there for the clock on the stock harness, I have an entire dash board with the clock that I have sitting on a shelf with a moving blanket lovingly wrapped around it. Sorry, not a tease, its not for sale. I like the set up I have 111916 (3).jpg

Hi Devo83 and welcome to the MadHouse:welcome:

It looks like that 8 hour drive was well worth the effort. That bike looks stunning and was clearly someone's pride and joy. Look after her and I am sure you will enjoy that bike for years to come.

Congratulations on adding photos with your first post. You might want to update your forum profile to include the year and specs of your VFR and an approximate location city/state is fine - that way the information will appear automatically alongside all your posts and if you need help you might find someone living nearby willing to come over and offer advice especially if you have a few cold beers in the fridge:drink:.

    Ride safe

Thanks to all for the kind words!

I can't wait to get the tires on, fluids changed and get the safety done so I can really start to ride it.

I may hit you up for some opinions on your experience doing the suspension. I kept seeing a lot about a member named Jamie with suspension work as well. I had planned on looking into racetech parts.
