I have the opportunity to buy a 1998-2001 VFR 800 Dynojet Power Commander 2 for about $80, but there is no CD with it and absolutely no support on the Dynojet website. It does have the computer connector cable, and I probably have an old XPcomputer somewhere in my basement with the correct connector.

The label on the back says M101-001.MAP. Would this be Plug and Play for my'99?

Can I make it work easily with some of the maps that members have posted on the forum.?

Any input would be greatly appreciated as I have zero experience with the Power Commander.

Not sure. But I can tell you to avoid the CA model. I bought one and it sucks as it doesn't modify the low RPM at all.
