I was out for about an hour an a half. Great afternoon! Wichita Ks in March can be brutal, but I'll take days like this when we can get them! Lots of bikes and hot rods out. What fun!

Yep...though did the first of the season oil change, love feeling the warm sun as I changed the oil...something about the smell of motor oil/chain lube reminds me of summertime...beautiful day here in the 'Ville. Weather is supposed to be sunny and near 70 degrees Sunday...time for some riding.

    Woot!

I took off at 8am, rode 83 miles of sweepers, hairpins, decreasing radius with elevation change... Meet up with Derstuka, cebuVFR, Scubalong, and Fixx. Then gased up and hauled semi-ass up the 330 to Big Bear to meet VFRChick and Patrick. They weren't at the meet-up spot yet so we kept going to "INTERCEPT" them on their way in. Caught them and rode back to eat lunch. After lunch hauled some moderate-to-above-average-ass to Arrowhead Lake where we parked like hoodlums and scared the children. Shot the sh*t for a few then took a quick-paced trip down the 18 past CHP. We all split our seperate ways after that, 3 headed to San Diego, 1 headed to Long Beach, and 2 to Vegas. I kicked it for a while at one of the bike dealers for a couple minutes that HAULED-MAJOR-ASS up the freeway before the rain hits. All in all it was about 6 hours of riding, 5 1/2 of those at a 45 degree tilt. Now gonna jump in the shower and head out for a bike night kinda deal...

oh, about 230 miles for me. I'm sure at least double for everyone else...

but that's about all the riding I did today.

    So far...

It's 60 degrees with bright sunny skies and not even a hint of a breeze here. Shame that there's still salt and lots of sand on the roads. Haven't had any really good monsoon rains to wash the roads off so there's no point in taking my bikes out just yet. Spent the day shooting the SH-T with the guys at the speed shop and picking up new tires for my RC51,had the garage door open while I worked though. Riding season's getting close, but hey this is Wisconsin you could have one of those goofy late season snowstorms that dump a foot of snow on you,you just never know. Glad to hear that somebody got out at least RVFR. I'll tip a coldie to you tonight!

it was kinda chilly here. I don't think it went much past 60. I rode the mountain bike for a bit. I was supposed to go to races with Tori, but due to the weather he backed out. I tried guilting him into it a couple times then gave up.

Yeah, not so nice here. We flew sideways at 145 knots back from Reno. Rain and snow for the next 24 hours.

Uh, yeah you could say I went out for a ride. I just woke up from a 3 hour nap. Phew, I started up the bike this morning around 10:30 and headed up to the north georgia mountains.

There's this section of road, about 10 miles that I really love, it's basically the best road in georgia for honing your knee dragging skills. I went back and forth on that road at least 5 times. I finally had to stop and call it day because my body got really sore and I barely had enough finger power for the clutch. Hmm, I think I might have to upgrade the clutch and brake levers.

Still, today was really nice because it's still a little too chilly for the usual squids so I didn't have to worry so much about the other idiots and focus on proper ass hauling. Oh, and the mileage tally is approx 300 miles, yeah that's a lot in a 4 hour period. Do the math on my average speed and you can see why I had to take a 3 hour nap lol

The mornings here are still a bit on the freezing side and being I get off work at 0630 I leave it at home. i had to scrape ice off my seat last week when I rode it in. In the 50's in the evening, mid 20,s in the morning. One cold ride. Supposed to be nice tomorrow so maybe i'll be able to get out for a bit.

Got about 235 miles in yesterday - rode down the Mississippi River Road on the Iowa side down to Keokuk, across into Illinois, and back up through Nauvoo to Niota, then back into Iowa at Ft. Madison. Nice day, nice ride! Having small isues with neck and back discomfort, but getting better the more I ride the VFR.
