What is your pick for the ugliest bike? If you can, post a pic.....

Mine is the Multistrata. Visual Ipecac. The Truimph Thruxton takes a close second (IMHO).

Here is my pic, but have a bucket nearby....

I find most Buells to be a little odd in the looks department, though I've seriously thought about a Ulysses; kawi's Z1000 is also a little fugly w/ the stock exhaust on, aftermarket exhaust not so bad.

I either go with the multistrada also, or possibly that triumph with the bug eyed headlights...

Form follows function. I like the Ducati Multistrada. It is not a recycled anything and is not derivative. It is unique and it really works as it is intended to do.

My all-time ugliest "popular" motorcycle is the Suzuki SV650 (S model, too).

I've always hated the front of the ZX-14, and never liked the naked bikes either...

Hey SFPA - do I have to narrow it to only one bike?

"Visual Ipecac". I love that. And I completely agree about the Multistrada.

Although the 1098 is on the way, every time I see a 999 from the front, it makes my eyes hurt.

The Multistrada would be OK looking if it weren't for that goofy looking front end. The SS swingarm and rear look pretty cool to me. I vote for the Moto Guzzi Griso because it looks good from every angle except that the right side looks retarded with the engine case hangin down like a big ole metal nutsack! LOL

    What was Triumph thinking?

Have you taken a look at a Triumph Rocket III - why a company with such a great history of sporty bikes would make that 2.3 Liter monstrosity is beyond me...yuck!

Because its the largest displacement production cruiser on the market, that supposedly handles extremely well. I actually really like this bike, but I liked the beemer cruiser too primarily because they where/are different from the normal cruiser market. If you think about it if you are the new kid on the block in the cruiser market, espescially the American cruiser market you can't go wrong by building the biggest engine available in a stock bike

The most Hideiously unattractive bike of modern times is easily Suzuki's DL 1000 V-Strom, the only machine on the current market that makes me involuntarily turn away dry retching.

I agree with the Multi Strada being ugly, I also think the Suzuki Katana is not so appealing to look at either. The V Strom kinda remonds me of a PAris-Dakar rally bike, not sure why, it just does.

Whoa...I wish you'd have warned me....I did a google image search on that one, and did not have the bucket nearby....the rug is all moist in technicolor now. Total Dog. They need to put that one out of its misery, or send it to a plastic surgeon.

R.W. -- Totally agree on the ZX-14. Soooo much potential, but soooo frickin ugly! I do like alot of the nakeds, though. Especially the K1200R and the Speed Triple.

That would be the BMW Montauk, yes a very worthy candidate its certainly in the top 10...

Is this thread starting to look worthy of a POLL, 10 Ugliest bikes of all time ?

Anyone know how we could set up a poll with pictures of each nausea-inducing bike next to the vote check-boxes?

Administrators? a little help? I'd be happy to set it up....

One guy's Ugly Bike is another guy's Sweet Ride. I don't cotton to any of the big Harleys or the Gold Wing, but a ton of riders like them. Heck, I really prefer the looks of Ducati's 999 over the 1098. But, of course, the truly ugliest motorcycle of all time is the Amazonas!
