Cheers all glad to find some people love v4s as much as me. My ride is a 1985 vf1000f just rebuilt. Started with the usual cam oil mod, hardened cam lobes, ported heads, & scored some light weight single ring pistons. Have just turned to the brakes & handling now, with some great help from Jamie Daugherty (www.daughertymotorsports.com) from the states. I'm in the process of fitting a CBR600f2 rear wheel with a 17/180 rear tyre & front wheel from same bike 17/120, yet to try it but suppose to improve handling. The forks are now fully adjustable thanks to a modified fork cap & gold valve kit & some custom ally triple clamps. This thing should be awsome when finished will post some pics soon.
