Just a reminder...

    Not even the centerstand will necessarily hold up on hot asphalt:

    The cases protected the fairings pretty well, the only scrape was near the turn signal. My right mirror is broken though, and it tweaked the right handlebar just a little bit. Had to be pushstarted too because the battery didn't want to work after lying on its side (seemed charged up by the time I got home though).

    I even had a metal plate for the kickstand with me, but I thought the centerstand would be fine... lesson learned!
