G'day all. I'm a retread who bought a 2005 Kawasaki Z750S last year after two decades out of the saddle. I spotted a low mileage 2002 VFR at the bike shop while picking up some chain lube. I was tempted and returned a few days later for a test ride. While a like my Z750S, I was very impressed by the VFR's refinement. I may be hooked.

Buy it now. Never look back. You will be amazed that over the years it will do whatever you ask and more...with serious refinement and a nice jagged edge if you twist the throttle far enough. Good luck. I bought a VFR in 1991 and a VFR800 2000...with a cbr, xr, xlr, drZ400 and klr in between for good measure. What should I buy next? Ducati Supermoto? tempting... Regardless, I will keep the VFR for a long time.

VFR is the bike you'll keep forever. Been riding street bikes for 37 years, and the VFR is my favorite, hands down.

Bikes will come, and bikes will go, but the VFR will always have a home in my garage.

Bought my first VFR in 1992... LOVED that bike.

Upgraded to a VFR800 in 2001, LOVE this bike.

    Did it!

I went back to look at it again and took the plunge. I took the long way home, of course!

Oh man that just makes the hair on my arms stand straight up! A real live convert documented live in real time, almost.

I hope you love the bike as much as we all do and welcome too our addiction!

Well, buyer's remorse hasn't hit, so the prospects for happiness are positive.

    TechNomad,

You won't be sorry. What a great looking bike you have, saddle bads and a Corbin seat... I'm a Corbin seat fan, have one on my 1992 and on my 2001.
