The 2 main side fairings plus the upper cowl/fairing........w/dual headlights!

Matching , all fiberglass , and in near perfect condition. Fasteners included.

The upper cowl is super heavy duty and well built. Very sturdy.

No idea if I will like the look of the dual headlights as I am pretty much a factory-original guy.

Disregard the tags - they are incorrect. These fit the 2nd Gen bikes.

Till now the only other Cobalt Racing fairing I had was a tail piece that came with one of my Blue '87's.

I contacted the seller about his listing error when he had them for 1990 - 93 VFRs. I thought they were pretty reasonably priced too.

    Thanks, guys.

Although I swore off any more expenditures for the rest of 2024, I couldn't resist grabbing these. The seller and I exchanged a couple messages after I left some very positive feedback for him -i n particular high praise for how carefully they were packed for shipment. Which they were. They arrived in perfect condition and actually after holding them in my hands, they exceeded expectations.

The seller is a motorcycle guy and as such, he said it made his day knowing the fairings ended up in good hands where they will be appreciated for what they are.

He also said he was reluctant to sell them but ultimately just had too many projects (where have we heard that before?) so had to let some stuff go.

Capt......yeah.....I could tell these were made for 2nd Gens when I made the decision to buy them and afterwards the seller and I touched on the subject. I think he said the tags were made in error. But the listing title correctly stated '86 and '87 so that also helped confirm my decision.

Total amount paid, incl. shipping & sales tax, was $372.75......for those interested.

Agree Capt.........not bad for what these are.
